| 7th November 2005 | AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN LEIGH. The Rural Housing Trust are proposing to build a small development of affordable housing for people with local connections in Leigh next to Kennard's, accessed from Hildenborough Road.
There will be an Open Forum in the next Council Meeting Monday 7th November at 8pm when the planning application will be discussed. Do come and find out what is happening. |

They said that frying full time was becoming too tiring, so they were going to restict their frying to only two days a week, and unfortunately Leigh was a stop too many. They thank all their customers over the years for their support. |

The Village Hall has been shortlisted for a prize in the Heart of the Community competition run by the Kent and Sussex Courier. TO WIN £2,000 IT NEEDS YOUR VOTE.
Voting forms are in the Courier and can be handed in to the Post Office. You can vote more than once as long as it is on the official forms and there will be further forms published on 18th and 25th April. So, don't delay - get your votes in and help the Appeal Fund.

Come to Jessicas Hall between 2.00pm and 4.00pm to see some of the historical artefacts and documents that the Historical Society hold in their archives.
